Fattoria La Vialla, today, comprises roughly thirty once-abandoned farmsteads. The long task of preserving and restoring them, which has been underway for over 45 years and is still ongoing, leaves the ancient farmhouses with their original features and period furnishings. During the summer season – from April to October – they can be booked on a weekly basis, to spend your holidays in the countryside, surrounded by nature in a secluded corner of Tuscany.
At the Fattoria, with advance booking, we organise rustic “merende” (= Tuscan snacks) and – 2 or 3 times a week – set menu lunches and dinners, using whatever the season provides from the vegetable patch, wine cellar and kitchen workshops.
The houses can be reached by car, using the small country roads that run through the Fattoria’s protected territory. The kitchen of each house is equipped with tableware, saucepans and electrical appliances, but Wi-Fi and televisions are “banned”!

Fattoria La Vialla does not have a campsite but, subject to availability and by prior reservation only, visitors passing through may use a pitch to park their motorhome or campervan for one night, provided that the vehicle is completely self-sufficient as far as water and sewage are concerned.
