They are small, fragrant, tasty cherry tomatoes that don’t have much flesh but lots of seeds and skin, which are “valuable” thanks to their significant content of vitamin C, in the seeds, and vitamin A, in the skin. They can be used to make delicious sauces or, as they are, drained, to add flavour – and colour – to pizza, focaccia and bruschetta seasoned however you prefer: olive oil, salt, pepper – or chilli pepper –, garlic and basil, or even with cheese.
