This tasting pack contains 3 specialities from Fattoria La Vialla:
- 1 jar Salsa Nera (typical chicken liver sauce for Tuscan crostini, 190 g)
- 1 jar Asparagina (green asparagus sauce, 180 g)
- 1 jar Piccantissima (hot and spicy tomato, bell pepper and chilli sauce, 90 g)
Ah the bruschetta... what a delight! A ritual for us Tuscans (but not only!), which is always to be found among the appetizers and excellent at any time of day. Slices of homemade bread, toasted and “topped” according to taste (the most classic: rubbed with garlic, sprinkled with salt and drizzled with extra virgin olive oil, preferably new!). This tasting pack contains three delicious sauces for a genuine Viallino “bruschettata” (= bruschetta feast)! Typical Tuscan Salsa Nera, a tempting sauce made with chicken livers, to be warmed in a bain-marie and then spread on slices of toasted bread, which should traditionally have been dipped – on one side – in broth (preferably mixed with a little Vin Santo). Asparagina, a soft, fragrant purée of green asparagus that is excellent on bruschetta, either on its own or accompanied by slices of hardboiled egg or mature pecorino cheese. Piccantissima, a fragrant sauce made with tomato, onion, bell peppers – which counterbalance the spicy taste with their sweetness – and fresh chilli pepper, of which you can actually smell the fragrance... even more so if you taste the Piccantissima as it is, simply spread on toasted bread!
