The Barriccato 2020 – La Vialla’s signature red, aged in barriques, robust and full-bodied – and Barriccato Bianco 2022, the “grand” unfiltered white, aged in Tonneaux – intense, soft, seemingly sweet but actually completely dry, dense and persistent – accompany delicious Sun-dried Cherry Tomatoes and succulent Spaghetti with the spicy sauce par excellence, Sugo all’Arrabbiata. A “drizzle” of Extra Virgin Olive Oil enhances any dish, here it’s in the company of Balsamico Bianco, in twin glass “cubes”... and to finish off there are the rustic Viallini biscuits, baked in the Fattoria’s wood-burning ovens.
